The Road to Conservation Starts at Home!

Text Box: The 2010 Education Seminar will be held on March 29 and 30, 2010, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City. The Seminar will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty, in Jefferson City. There will be presentations on bills currently in the legislature concerning conservation, and the Parks & Soils Sales Tax budget . Agenda-Registration Text Box: There will be donuts and coffee in the Capitol Rotunda on the Third Floor starting at 7:30 a.m. on the morning of March 30th. This provides an area for our group to visit with legislators and also allows time for individual visits with legislators in their offices. A block of hotel rooms has been set up Text Box: Education Seminar Text Box: NACD Regional Meeting Text Box: Text Box: The North Central Region of NACD has not held a Regional Meeting for the past 4 years due to NACD holding its Summer Legislative Meeting on the dates the Regional Meeting was normally held. The Region has decided to get the Regional Meeting started again and is in the process of planning one for this summer. It will be held Text Box: in either late July or early August in either Michigan or Minnesota. Watch the newsletter and web page for more information on his meeting. The Regional meeting is intended for SWCD Boards and employees of the 8 states in the North Central Region — Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin
