Text Box: As the end of this fiscal year draws near do you have funds remaining in your Administrative Fund? If so, a good way to use them would be to pay NACD Quota or MASWCD State Dues if you have not paid them yet this year. You could also use them to pay Associate Membership to either NACD or MASWCD, information is available on their web pages.

Yes there will be a Training Conference in December 2008. There will be several changes to the Training Conference this year. The main change is that the planning and funding for the Conference will be taken over by MASWCD with assistance from the District Employees Association.

Plans have already begun for the Conference. It will be December 1-3 at Tan-Tar-A, the same as it has been since 1993. The overall format of the Conference will remain basically the same. MASWCD is working on ways to keep the Registration cost to attendees as low as possible. More information will be available in the next few weeks.
