This meant that each area had to hold an election this year. The newly elected Area Directors will officially start their position at the end of the upcoming Training Conference. The results of those elections are as follows. Area 1 — Bruce Biermann, Director Bernard Chestnut, Alternate Donald Jordan, Alternate Area 2 — Tom Lambert, Director David Morris, Alternate Area 3 — Kenny Lovelace, Director Henry Heinze, Alternate Duane Ebeling, Alternate Area 4 — Beverly Dometrorch, Director Alan Ream, Alternate Text Box: Text Box: Area Director Elections Text Box: The Four-Way Test Text Box: At the MASWCD Area Meeting in Washington, Missouri, there was a wall hanging that included a message that we all should keep in mind. This Code of Ethics from the Rotary International was first adopted by them in 1932 as a Guiding Principle. It has been a personal and business ethic guide for many people and organizations since then. Text Box: The Four-Way Test Of the things we think, say or do Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Governor Nixon has named Kip Stetzler as acting director of DNR to replace Mark Templeton who resigned to take a job to help oversee a $20 billion fund for people harmed by the Gulf oil spill.  Stetzler has worked for Nixon since 2000 and has also been interim state insurance agency director and director of the governor’s western Missouri office.
